We are looking for an experienced HR specialist, Operations, and a recruiter to manage all aspects of the company's HR and recruitment for a fast-growing Internet startup.
The people we hire will be part of the founding team and have the opportunity to earn equity and share in the company's success. The position can either be part or full-time.
Job purpose:
Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level working closely with management in supporting HR and recruitment functions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee/ relations, training, and performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, and recruitment/employment.
Essential functions and duties:
· Coordinates with departments on staffing needs.
· Audits and monitors all personnel transitions: an on-boarding process of new hires, transfers, demotions, reduction in forces, and terminations.
· Maintains and monitors the onboarding process.
· Maintains center-wide job descriptions and evaluations.
· Maintains HR logistical items such as position control, leave accrual, job descriptions, performance appraisals, and applicant tracking.
· Provides daily coaching for directors, managers, supervisors, and employees.
· Maintains positive relationships, and fosters open communication.
· Assist and coordinates employee morale initiatives and recommendations as needed.
· Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
· Create short-term and long-range goals for developing HR policy and procedures and making suggested improvements.
· Conduct exit interviews, and utilizes data to recognize trends and create action plans to address retention issues
Requirements:
· Personal computer with high-speed internet connection and webcam for video conferencing calls
· Extensive USE OF INTERNET
· Skype Account to connect with team members and clients
