LEAN ENGINEER

For one of our clients, a multinational production company with well-established presence in Bulgaria - we are searching for a driven professional for the mission of:
LEAN ENGINEER
The Major Responsibilities Include:
• Take part in the IL6S program governance – development of Site Loss Analysis, Productivity/GE delivery and manages loss elimination activities of the line.
• Build capability in the line organization on IL6S work processes. Initiate and support training and qualification programs.
• Participate in the FI pillar's capability building agenda. Utilize FI toolbox - Loss Tree Analysis, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, 12 Step Kaizen, productivity cycle.
• Own 2 IL6S work processes and participate in activities, related to other pillars (AM, PM, QM, IIM tec).
• Apply process knowledge to solve practical problems and assure execution of the technological requirements. Investigate deviations and give proposals for process improvements.
• Performs industrial trials, supports new product launches and documents their outcomes. Actively participates in new product development, new processes implementation and the transfer of new equipment ownership from Business Development/Engineering to Production.
• Gain hands-on experience in operating the equipment, builds self-capability in systems and processes. Prepare work instructions, SOPs and procedures for machine operation and line organization.
• Leads Vertical Start Up projects for any initiatives occurring on the line, under the coaching of the IL6S site leader and the IIM leader.
Experience required:
• Around 2-3 years previous experience in process or product improvement projects
• Lean and high-performance work systems experience
Qualification and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Food Science / Technology
• Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on IL6S activities
• Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment
• Ability to analyze and validate data in manual and automated systems
• Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools
