Financial Data Analyst


Grove Global Consult Ltd. is a consulting and recruitment agency, providing strategic consulting services in the areas of the private business sector worldwide.

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Financial Data analyst.

What will you be doing?

As a Financial Data Analyst, you are imperative for the financial planning and analysis department of a business. You are responsible for analyzing financial statements and predicting the future performance of the company. This may include forecasting future revenues and expenditures, as well as modeling capital structure and budgeting. In this position, you may also be responsible for keeping track of a company’s financial plan. Analyzing our company’s performance, alongside changes and market trends, not only helps you to create forecasts but also allows us to calculate variances between those forecasts and actuals.

It would be your job to track down and explain the causes of these variances.

You may also often report to management and stakeholders regarding their findings and may contribute to shaping the strategic planning of the company.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking

  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses study proposed changes in methods and materials

  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports tools, and Excel dashboards

  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models


We are looking for someone hardworking and dedicated who can use their excellent financial knowledge to continue with and improve our high-quality services.

Requirements: 


  • Minimum of 1- year of experience as a Retention agent

  • Have an excellent spoken and written level of English

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Knowledge of SQL

  • Knowledge/experience in math's, statistics, economics, or finance

  • Goal-oriented and ambitious with a drive to succeed

  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-moving and volatile market
