Our client:

Our client is a global leader in maritime safety and their company is looking to hire Account Receivable Specialist for the company’s Financial Department based in Plovdiv,Bulgaria. You will join a global team of more than 3000 employees across 5 regions, 30 countries, 82 branch offices and 288 servicing stations who see the whole world as their home market and know how great it feels to save lives for a living! 

Responsibilities:


  • Continually chasing debt to ensure cash is being received within the agreed credit terms;

  • Ensuring debtor days are kept to a minimum;

  • Send out monthly customer statements;

  • Assists in all duties relating to managing customer accounts including, but not limited to, soliciting payments for overdue accounts, approval of orders to release, and dealing with outside collection agencies, law offices etc;

  • Assist with issues regarding sales tax, billing address, PO issues and etc;

  • Working with sales and assisting to facilitate new orders/ negotiating terms;

  • Update notes on all pending orders to inform sales and logistics of their status;

  • Raising bad debt issues when they occur to your line manager for review.



Requirements:


  • Experience in the accounting or A/R field in international company is an advantage;

  • You hold an university diploma in Accounting, Finance or Economics;

  • You are advanced user of Outlook, Microsoft Word and have strong spreadsheet capabilities (Microsoft Excel);

  • You have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within corporate collecting;

  • Experience with SAP is an advantage;

  • Attention to details and accuracy within deadline-driven environment;

  • Proficiency in English.
