Remixshop is one of the leading European e-commerces for second hand and outlet fashion, operating in 9 markets in the EU with headquarters in Sofia. Remix was recently acquired by the American Secondhand Giant - ThredUp. Remix is set on a full growth mode and development of new markets.
Currently we are looking for a “Warehouse Manager” to join our highly motivated, productive and positive team.
Overall management of all activities to plan, control and direct the scheduling and release of customer orders through the perfect organization, controlling, regulating, and maintaining efficient levels work in process.
Functions reporting to this position: All-warehouse personnel (approx. 60 team members).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage & provide leadership to the personnel reporting to this position.
• Monitor all activities.
• Work closely with “Production” department.
• Adjust production schedules as necessary to meet special order requirements.
• Maintain efficient levels of inventory of components.
• Make recommendations to improve process flow as needed.
• Provide reports and information to the Senior Management as required or needed.
• Determine, achieve and improve productivity, quality, environmental, health and safety goals.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with all internal customers, plant management; maintain positive employee relations; listen to issues and concerns and respond timely.
• Maintain open, honest relationships with fellow employees; treat all associates with dignity and respect without favoritism
• Follow the principles of the Company.
• Promote and practice “safety first” by immediately addressing any hazards, defective equipment or unsafe conditions within the department.
• Support new program launches.
• Maintain and continually facilitate organization and housekeeping standards.
• Utilize lessons-learned philosophy in continual improvement activities.
• Provide motivation and results-oriented environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations for reporting personnel as specified by company goals.
• Ensure all employee documentation is maintained.
• Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example.
• Promote and facilitate Open Door Process without reprisal, effective communication, and Fair Treatment
• Handle confidential information on a regular basis; uphold confidentiality and build trust in Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications We Require
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or other applicable field of study.
• Five or more years of experience, including three or more years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications We Desire
• Three or more years’ experience as a managerial role or equivalent experience leading large organizations and leading leaders.
• Three or more years of direct management experience in Logistics or other comparable operational environments.
• Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or other applicable field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with logistics operations and the regulatory environment with dynamic of at least 1milion products yearly.
• Demonstrated ability and experience to develop and articulate a strategy or vision and then lead an organization to meet defined objectives.
• Proven application of engineered safety and/or behavior-based safety principles and a demonstrated ability to enhance the safety culture in an operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and managing diverse operations.
• Strong organization skills with ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary for the leadership of management team, staff, represented employees and external entities.
• Demonstrated work contributions at a professional level in numerous roles or assignments through cross organizational and/or multi-discipline teaming or other collaborative efforts that illustrate an ability to support the Company strategy.
• Demonstrated leadership experience driving improvements in operations related issues and in complex operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience driving talent development approaches with staff and other leaders.
• Demonstrated experience influencing.
• Full proficiency of English language.
