Treasurer

STOMANA INDUSTRY SA is looking for a Treasurer for its Plant in Pernik, Bulgaria. STOMANA INDUSTRY SA is a leading steel manufacturer in Bulgaria and member of SIDENOR SA. As the Treasurer, you will report to Finance Manager and you will undertake a wide range of tasks.

Your Role

Ensure the company’s banking operations; seeing to it that all funds are appropriately banked ensuring efficiency and returns
Ensure the efficient management of company’s bank accounts
Responsible for interest and debt analysis, with provision of relevant information and report
Take care of the cash management system of the company and their payment mechanism
Ensure conformity of company’s bank account with IFR Standards. Reconciling of bank statements against the GL, and clearing accounts assigned
Daily calculation of the cash position
Ensure tax regulations are in compliance with established standards
Check and verify cash transactions; and also investigate and propose possible resolutions for any discrepancies
Ensure the coordination of the statutory audit, year in year out, and resolve all possible queries

Your Profile

University Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years prior experience in treasury accounting or banking, preferably in a well-established company
Basic knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian accounting
Excellent command of English language
Proficient user of Microsoft Office especially Excel;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Perseverance and results orientation and ability to work autonomously
