About the role:
We are looking for Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team at a very exciting time of exponential growth. The Talent Acquisition Specialist responsibilities include identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings online and managing the full cycle recruiting process.
To be successful in this role, you should have an HR academic background along with work experience in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates within Capital / Financial Markets. In this role you will help the organization hire top talent in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner while promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
To ensure success as Talent Acquisition Specialist, you should be experienced in hiring practices, skilled at sourcing high-value candidates, and successful at matching people to different roles and positions. A top-notch Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to understand the business' long-term goals and the working culture of the organization and use it to hire the best people for the job in addition to helping us build a strong employer brand.
Scope and Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with hiring leads within the organization to track ongoing hiring needs of their business unit.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment of open roles, including understanding business needs, determining job requirements, drafting job specifications, advertising and promoting vacancies, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling and conducting candidate interviews, managing the recruitment process with various stakeholders, reference checking and offer management.
• Identifying and partner with external providers, stakeholders and institutions as required to ensure hiring needs are met.
• Achieving and exceeding hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring, hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
• Improve the hiring process and practices to streamline recruitment and improve time to hire.
• Design and implement employee referral plans.
• Participate in career events and job fairs for boosting the reputation and brand of Burgiss.
• Develop strategies to obtain a healthy pool of talented candidates for sourcing.
• Assisting with the onboarding of new hires.
• Providing interview feedback as needed.
• Answering the queries of candidates related to the hiring process.
• Analyzing retention and turnover rates for the purpose of forecasting hiring needs.
• Evaluating candidates based on their assignment and interview performance.
• Reporting to HR Manager and Hiring Managers on the status of open positions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field;
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Prior experience within talent acquisition in capital markets / private equity / finance;
• Experience with full cycle recruiting;
• Sound knowledge of all labor regulations;
• Experience organizing assessment centers and psychometric tests;
• Experience with resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems;
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills;
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
• Ability to build relationships with & influence stakeholders;
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
