As a System Administrator, you will play a key role on the optimization and maintenance of the office IT assets, being responsible for troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks to ensure they meet the expectations. Department: IT
Location: Varna
Reports to: Team Lead of IT Department
Working Hours: Shift basis, including On-Call duties
Commencement Period: As soon as possible
Position type: Permanent, full time


MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English Language, both written and verbal;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows Desktop OS (including application and system settings, antivirus software, mail client setup);
• Very good knowledge and experience with Windows Server OS – Active directory, Roles and features, patching, Task Schedules;
• Very good knowledge and experience with Networking (LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, VPNs, DNS, DHCP);
• Good knowledge and experience with mail servers, PBX/VoIP systems;
• Experience with physical servers, SAN/NAS and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware);
• University degree in IT or related field is preferred;
• Good teamwork, analytical thinking, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGES:

• Experience with trading platforms like MetaTrader;
• Knowledge and experience with Linux OS;
• Knowledge and experience with scripting (Batch, PowerShell, bash)
• Knowledge and experience with Database Administration - MySQL, PostgreSQL;
• Knowledge and experience with Office 365, Microsoft Azure (or any other cloud solution);
• Knowledge and experience with IT Security, Application Firewalls;
• Experience with monitoring systems like Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti;
• Knowledge and experience with webservers (LAMP/LEMP stack).

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Executing day-to-day operational IT duties (monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues onsite and remote);
• Analyzing the stability and performance of all systems within the company;
• Performing on-going internal maintenance and upgrade of company’s infrastructure;
• Maintaining and troubleshooting trading platforms;
• Installation and configuration of common hardware and software;
• Implementing new solutions and automation of processes;
• Cooperating via e-mail or phone with 3rd party service providers for resolving issues;
• Providing second level IT support to employees, partners, and clients.
