Main areas of responsibilities of the position are:
- Conducts statistical analysis and programming in credit risk domain using statistical software;
- Assures accuracy and integrity of supplied data;
- Develops models to uncover patterns and predictions creating business value using Machine Learning algorithms;
- Collaborates with risk and business teams ensuring the model best fit for the dedicated purpose;
- Communicates with the team regarding projects progress and issue resolution;
- Mentors more junior colleagues;
- Maintains proficiency within the data science domain by keeping up with technology and trend shifts.
The appropriate candidates must have:
- Strong quantitative skills: graduate/master in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, informatics or related fields;
- Technical skills in one of the following tools: SAS, R, Python, Matlab;
- Experience in development of statistical models;
- Eager to learn, drive innovation and share knowledge;
- Strong communication skills;
- Proficiency in Excel;
- Fluent English.
