OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for AMK Drives and Controls EOOD in Bulgaria for OPERATIONS MANAGER, who will be responsible for operational management of the production activity of the company. This position requires extensive experience in Business process management, Industry Experience and Leadership Skills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of all production operations at the plant in Gabrovo:
- Production lines of stator winding
- Mechanical manufacturing and assembly
- Logistics and production control
- Production planning and Industrial Engineering
• Responsible for managing the production employees, capacity planning and performance;
• Monitoring production processes and internal logistics; providing evaluations regularly, taking corrective measures as appropriate;
• Continuous analysis and optimization of business processes along the value stream from the point of view of increasing efficiency and reducing costs, as well as adherence to delivery dates and quality;
• Planning production layouts with relevant machines, production flows and infrastructure;
• Cooperation with the quality management department, including in relation to Integrated Management System;
• Cross-department support with reliable technical information, fast decisions, continuous improvement process
• Responsible for the observance of all health and safety practices across the plant’s manufacturing operations;
• Managing with a common commitment to achieving the company’s planned targets and strategy;
• Negotiating with sub-contractors of machinery, equipment and services;
• Reporting directly to senior management
YOUR BACKGROUND
• University degree in technical field; In-depth knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (turning, grinding, milling)
• Excellent level of English or German;
• Proven track record on the same role in international industrial company (ideal in drives and controls technology), at least 5 years;
• Big advantages are SAP experience and knowledge in Lean methodology; problem-solving techniques; goal-orientation;
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015;
• Strong managerial and leadership skills; communicative, motivating and appreciative management style;
• Assertive, convincing and resilient personality
