Our team is expanding and we are looking for MS SQL Database Administrator.
Tasks
- Provision, administration, migration, maintenance, monitoring and tuning of MS SQL databases and DB components
- Preparation and implementation of changes as well as version and release upgrades
- Documentation of database systems and components
- Performing proactive performance analyses and troubleshooting
- Administration of MS-SQL server platforms with regard to confidentiality, integrity, availability, performance, authenticity, fault tolerance/resilience, economic efficiency, transparency and revision security
- Installation, standard configuration, monitoring and programming support and administration of set-up systems
Requirements:
- Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science or a comparable field or training as an IT specialist (f/m/d) with several years of professional experience
- Many years of experience as a database administrator in the area of MS SQL from version 2012 onwards
- Performance optimization, scripting, monitoring and troubleshooting of MS SQL systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical approach, understanding of business processes and procedures as well as a team-oriented and structured way of working
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written), natural curiosity, motivation and openness towards new things
- Knowledge of other database technologies is welcome (especially from the open source area)
