Now, We are seeking a talented professional to be recruited on a full time position in our Global Tech Team in Sofia.

The Role:

The position of a Junior IT Business analyst is based in the Data Processing & Automation team which consists of IT Business analysts and Developers. The mission of the team is to automate different business processes in order to facilitate the team of economists’ daily work. The development of automations is extremely important for ISI’s business as they improve operation efficiency, enhance the quality of the product, and increase the timeliness of data delivery.



An IT Business analyst is the bridge in the communication between economists and developers. He/She actively participate in the automation development and improvement processes through a process of analysis, user needs identification, requirements documentation and their translation into proper system requirement specifications. He/She should feel confident to communicate with colleagues located in several ISI offices worldwide, as well as feel comfortable balancing between several automation tasks. Being competent to apply their analytical and problem-solving thinking to resolve daily issues is essential.

Here are the key responsibilities:

• Create and modify documents in MS Excel that contain automation requirements


• Test automations and analyze problems by verifying the accuracy of statistical data


• Work closely with internal users to collect and analyze requirements, workflow, and priorities


• Conduct system and user acceptance testing


• Participate in various projects involving different business units globally

We are looking for a team member to join our motivated, young, and friendly team. A suitable candidate will be eager to learn, be detail oriented and communicative, and have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate in the next couple of years in Business Informatics, Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent OR Economic related disciplines with interest in IT field


• Very good command of English


• Good knowledge of operating equipment (personal computer and IT systems) and internet browser applications


• Good command of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
