Financial Controller

Maxima Bulgaria EOOD is owner of the retail chain T-Market in Bulgaria with 100 stores across the whole country and more than 2’400 employees. Maxima Bulgaria also is part from Maxima Grupė UAB – a Lithuanian group of retail chain companies operating in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Bulgaria and in 2018 has become the first private company in Lithuania to enter the international capital market, which has successfully placed the biggest-ever issue of bonds by a private company in the Baltics.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our growing finance team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze financial data and create financial reports on monthly basis
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data
• Perform variance analysis - compare factual and forecast data with budgeted
• Support Head of Financial planning and analysis with ad-hoc analysis
• Take part of yearly company budgeting process
• Key role during year end closing and communication with auditors
REQUIREMENTS:
• University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• At least 1 year of financial or accounting experience
• Ability to work in tight deadlines
• Confident user of MS Excel – it’s a must
• Analytical skills with attention to details
• Good communicational skills
• A very good command of English (both spoken and written) is essential
• Previous experience with SAP will be considered an advantage
