ENGINEERING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT AT BURGAS AIRPORT

The Deputy Head of department is responsible for the investments planned at Burgas airport. This includes runway rehabilitation, apron rehabilitation and solar power plant construction. He/She will be leading a team of project
managers and will be working closely with the Technical Director on the overall activities of the Technical Department at Fraport Bulgaria.

KEY RESPONSIBIILTIES:

Reporting directly to Technical Director, to lead a team of 3 to 4 project managers who work on investment projects at Burgas airport

Integrated in the overall planning process of the Technical Department including planning of financial and HR resources, organizational development, education plan, etc.

To ensure, in a structured and determined way, timely delivery of the investment projects at Burgas airport, their budget compliance and the fulfilment of required quality standards

To plan, manage and report the development of the projects to upper management and controlling institutions

Responsible for maintaining professional working environment and the overall performance of the TD team at Burgas

Responsible for providing timely and reliable information related to his/her work activities to other involved parties

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Education: University degree in construction or infrastructure engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (a leading role in construction projects of value above 1 m Euro - design phase to start of operation)
