Contracting and Reservations agent

About us:
Fair Point GmbH is a corporate travel management company founded in 2008. We are providing accommodation services to foreign companies, participating in trade fairs and congresses worldwide.
As an expanding company trying to meet the demands of its international customers, we are currently looking to hire an English and/or German speaking contracting agent to join our Reservations and Product supply Department.
Main Duties of the position:
- Researching accommodation availability in the various suppliers of the company;
- Contracting hotel properties based on the requirements of the customers and the guidelines provided by the Reservations Manager;
- Negotiating the terms of the reservations with the hotels;
- Finalizing reservations with the suppliers or the contracted hotels directly;
- Making sure all reservation-related information is reflected accurately in the company database;
- Keeping track of previously made bookings;
- Constant communication with the Sales Department of the company.
Necessary skills for the position:
- Excellent written and spoken English and/or German (additional language is a plus)
- Previous experience in a travel agency, tour operator or in the reservations/customer releations team or as a FOM in a hotel/hotel chain is a plus
- IATA certificate is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- PC literate
- To be an active team player
In addition to the fixed salary, a bonus, related to the achieved revenue also applies.
