Commercial Manager - Bulgaria and export markets

For one of our clients, manufacturing company, producing machinery and equipment for the food and agriculture industry, with production plant in North Bulgaria, we are currently looking for highly experienced commercial and export management professional, with strong technical and business acumen, to join their team as COMMERCIAL MANAGER for Bulgaria and foreign markets.
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead the overall commercial function of the company in Bulgaria and abroad, focusing on business development of new markets and strategic planning and leadership.
RESPONSABILITIES:
o Take key role in the annual budgeting plan for the sales, by channel, region, product and other; and actively develops the international sales network of the company.
o Develop and oversee the implementation of commercial strategies for export markets and commercial relationships with the local sales representatives, potential or existing key customers and partners;
o Plan and monitor the business development process in all foreign markets of the company, mostly in Europe;
o Analyze the markets’ specifics and local competitors to develop the most efficient trade policy for each market and provide ideas for possible process improvements, new sales leads’ channels etc.
o Lead and manage the local and international sales teams; execute meetings, set KPIs and monitor the performance, give feedback and propose ways to develop the people
o Take part in the annual training plan for the sales team and appraisal process, measures performance and efficiency
o Act as a liaison between international key clients and the team, delegates tasks and responsibilities and coordinates the overall sales and business development function of the company
PROFILE:
o Relevant university degree
o At least 7 years in export/commercial/business development roles, and previous experience in working with or targeting the food or agriculture industry, preferably from multinational company;
o Previous experience in a leading strategic decision-making role regarding foreign markets and business development, experience in export
o In addition to a strong operational capability, a self-motivated, adaptive and autonomous professional
o Strong strategic thinking, communication, inter-personal influence, networking, learning agility, workflow management
o Excellent knowledge of English language
