JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join a vibrant international team. Their role would be to ensure that an organization’s accounting information and practices are accurately reflected. Our best candidate will be part of a dedicated accounting team located in Sofia and we would love to introduce you to the job.

RESPONSIBILITY
In this role, you'll be utilising your technical accounting expertise to provide the following support for our clients HQ:
- Book revenues and expenses
- Issue Inter-company recharges
- Book bank movements
- Fixed assets booking including leasing
- Ensure proper and complete accounted transactions each month
- Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures as per detailed accounting guidelines
- Gathering supporting documentation and performing record keeping
- Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct
- Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in business/economics, finance, accounting or any other related field
- At least 3 years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar
- ACCA Qualification or CIMA would be considered advantage
- English independent user; German would be an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting and business management software
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, interpersonal skills, and a strong team player
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to effectively prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Critical, analytical, and creative thinking to identify and solve problems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team and have a strong understanding of the theoretical and practical components of the position apart from just being familiar with performing assigned tasks
