Main Tasks & Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing monthly financial statements, compliant with Group policies and local GAAP.
* Responsible for preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans.
* Perform month-end closing activities according to month-end schedule and provide analysis to local management.
* Act as Business controller and Key owner of Operational accounting system, ensuring the quality of data and performing profitability analysis (by product, customer, lane, etc.).
* Owner of Internal controls processes, ensuring compliance and maintaining required documentation.
* Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
* Review the P&L and balance sheet on a monthly basis as well as underlying account reconciliations to ensure integrity of the data and identify potential cost savings.
* Preparation of various regular and ad-hoc financial and business reports to management, Headquarters and third parties.
* Deputize CFO in case of absence.
* Participate in development of new and optimization of existing process in Finance.
* Participate in development of accounting policies and financial control procedures.
* Take active part in current projects within the department.
Required Experience & Qualification:
* University level in Accounting/Controlling or equivalent by experience.
* 3+ years of experience as an accountant; Previous experience as Controller will be considered an advantage.
* Knowledge of IFRS and local tax legislation.
* Excellent command in English both written and spoken.
* Computer literacy and professional skills in excel and/or other database programs.
* Good knowledge of Oracle/SAP applications is a plus.
