Business Development Manager



Currently, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who will further develop the product portfolio and revenue capabilities of the company.

He/she will contribute to the Sopharma Group’s mission by developing and executing strategic initiatives, scanning for new trends on global and local markets. Set up and manage relationships with big pharma companies and other relevant partners whose products and services could add value to Sopharma’s customers


This position is located in Sofia and requires some travel.


Key responsibilities:


The appointed Business Development Manager will have the following challenging tasks:



  • Analyze and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth across new product categories for in and out-licensing

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify products for in-licensing and out-licensing as well as managing external relationships for both

  • Structure and secure strategic partnerships and licensing agreements to take advantage of new business opportunities

  • Applies and maintains new product and vendor assessment policies and practices

  • Supports marketing strategy and positioning based on deep customer and market insight and in line with the global product strategy

  • New product development outsourcing, cross-functional coordination, planning and project management.


Requirements:


To be successful in this role you need to meet the following key requirements:



  • Experience in developing and implementing global or multi-regional products and brand positioning development

  • 3+ years’ experience in Business development, in-licensing or related field

  • Pharmaceutical product and industry acumen

  • Effective communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, with proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with partners, building long-term relationship.

  • Proactive and follow-through attitude

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • University degree

  • Fluent in written and verbal English, Bulgarian is the official language in the company
