For one of our clients - an independent tax advisory firm operating as a boutique service provider, aimed at providing fully integrated tax services, we are looking to recruit an intelligent and ambitious VAT Compliance Expert with previous experience in the field
VAT Compliance Expert
Key responsibilities:
• Assisting clients in the VAT compliance process, including in preparing, reviewing and submission of VAT returns, Intrastat and related fillings
• Provide assistance in handling clients’ tax assignments and queries and processing client activity information
• Handling correspondence with clients and tax authorities on VAT issues
• Assistance in tax checks and tax audits
Qualifications:
• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Law or related
• A proven track record of experience in the field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent client-facing skills as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Very good computer literacy - MS Office, especially Excel
