Truck - Planner - Night shift

Jan de Rijk Logistics, based in the The Netherlands, is a leading provider of transportation and distribution services, operating a large fleet of 500 vehicles across Europe. The company also offers warehousing & intermodal services and retail distribution. Jan de Rijk Logistics has 23 offices in 15 countries and employs more than 1,000 staff in Europe. We are looking for a truck-planner for our Bulgarian department.

Requirements:
1. Freely written and spoken English.
2. Computer skills – MS Office applications Excel and Word.
3. Fast typing, the job is time critical.
4. Ability to work efficiently under stress.
5. Good communication and organization skills.
6. Ability to motivate people and to deal with various issues.
7. Self-confident person with good analytical skills.
8. Experience in Transport business is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
1. Communication at a certain level with drivers and freight planners.
2. Coordinating and following up the activities of the trucks.
3. Communicating with the planning departments in our foreign offices in Europe.
4. Respond to telephone calls, email and text messages in a timely manner.
5. Informing drivers about their tasks, route profile, etc.
6. Solving issues that drivers have in regards to the deliveries of the shipments. 
7. Monitoring and following up the process of collection and delivering shipments on time.
