We’re looking for a passionate Test Automation Engineer to join the team of Xempus within our operation:

provision becomes fast, efficient and comprehensible, giving everyone the ability to organize their own pension plan.


Your role:


You have skills and ideas. Now, you just need the right task. How about making the future plannable? Because that’s what Xempus does. As one of the first and leading InsurTechs in Europe, we work in Munich, Berlin, Saarbrücken and
Sofia on a platform for digital retirement planning. Naturally, our standards are high and we only want the best on board: You!


Your contribution to something big:



  • Use your quality DNA to ensure best in class quality of the XEMPUS platform.

  • As part of our X-company QA chapter, you will drive our automated platform tests with innovation to the next level.

  • You will analyze the requirements while they are getting realized to derive test plans from them independently and implement test on all levels of the test pyramid.

  • Monitor test results and help ensure that our customers continue to benefit from our high software quality.


Our ideal teammate has/is:



  • Passion for quality and the clear aim of a zero bug policy

  • Experience with testing tools & frameworks for automated UI testing, e.g. Webdriver.io, Selenium, Javascript, Reporter, Shell scripting

  • Experience with systematic creation of test cases

  • Several years of experience in functional and non-functional testing and test automation

  • Experience with cloud-based test platforms, e.g. Browserstack

  • Confident handling of Atlassian JIRA, Confluence or comparable tools

  • Basic knowledge of Jenkins is an advantage
