TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

An international IT company with long and well-established market presence in Bulgaria is looking for experienced Technical Consultant for its Bulgarian entity. Our main business is focused on delivery and implementation of high-end IT solutions for corporate customers and public sector. We have a wide product portfolio, professional services and the strong engineering competences of our team. S&T serves companies along the entire IT value chain in the fields of manufacturing, commerce, telecommunications, public services, financial services as well as energy and utility companies.
Objective:
The right candidate is supposed to have technical skills which will help her/him to understand customer requirements and design solutions based on the specific customer environment.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Design of end-to-end infrastructure solutions
- Proactively consults S&T customers and meets them to determine their requirements
- Responsible for project success in terms of profitability and technical feasibility of the solution
- Conducts project calculations including vendor and service costs of the proposed solution
- Collaborates with S&T and vendor service responsible people in order to ensure that the technical requirements are met and the designed solutions are properly working
- Technical offers preparation
Search Profile:
Professional Prerequisites:
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Knowledge of infrastructure products & solutions such as, data center architectures, enterprise backup solutions, systems management solution, SAN and other storage products, Networking, Virtualization, Disaster Recovery design and/or solutions implementation, etc.
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements
- Experience in solution sales / presales / consulting / design of infrastructure solutions
- Excellent proposal writing and project documentation skills
- Fluent in English, fluent Bulgarian
