Once you join our team as Team Leader On-site Logistics you will:

Functionally and disciplinary lead the storemen and material coordinators

Manage all local logistics processes and interconnections with all local departments

Point of contact for material management issues

Responsible for receiving and replying of all escalations and feedback from/to production for materials delivery, material targets, material consumption and materials inventory level

Take an active role in the implementation of solutions for process improvements within the department

Produce duty roasters in accordance with requirements of running maintenance workload

Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Ensure a high level of housekeeping of the store area

Determines proper methods for storage, identification and stock location

Coaching

To be successful in the role you need:

University degree in economics, logistics or engineering

Professional experience in warehouse logistics and request disposition of minimum 5 years

Good knowledge of other logistics processes (transport, planning and purchasing)

Excellent communication skills and leadership characteristics

Team spirit, sense of responsibility and very good interpersonal skills

Computer literate, preferably SAP knowledge

Flexibility according to workload during the project phases

Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvement within his/her working area

Experience in process design and training

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
