Team Lead Accounts Payable

About the role
Axpo Bulgaria’s activities are expanding! We are now looking for a Team Lead Account Payable to join our team! On this position, you will be responsible for the management and development of the Accounts Payable team in Sofia, and will ensure the effective management of accounts payable and bank accounts.

What you will do

• Ensure an efficient, proper, professional and up-to-date management of accounts payable and bank accounts


• Ensure ICS provisions in the areas of accounts payable and banks


• Close cooperation with the back offices in Switzerland and Bulgaria


• Team management and team development


• Maintain a motivating and challenging team environment


• Carry out the DTA payment run and ensure correct CSA payments


• Booking of all accounts payable invoices incurred by Axpo Solutions AG and its branch companies


• Booking the daily cash inflows/outflows on all AXPO Solutions AG bank accounts


• Day-to-day booking of treasury transactions


• Ensuring correct netting settlements and payments


• Maintenance of vendors’ master data


• Execution of the monthly factoring of Axpo Solutions AG


• Assigned month-end closing work activities

What you bring & who you are

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent


• Expertise in Controlling, Accounting or/and Taxes with all-round solid overall expertise in Finance


• Experience in futures and spot exchanges will be considered an advantage


• Excellent command of the English language, German is considered an advantage


• Experience in energy trading will be considered an advantage


• ACCA certification will be a strong advantage


• Team management experience, good communication and collaboration skills


• Flexible, able to work under pressure and capable of innovation


• Good priority management and fast decision-making


• Analytical thinking with attention to detail
