The company is part of the multi-platform media and technology company Nova Broadcasting Group, subsidiary of United Group, a leading telecommunication and media operator in Southeast Europe.
What we’re looking for:
System Administrator – Hardware Infrastructure
Main responsibilities:
∙ Develop and maintain infrastructure behind largest web services in Bulgaria
∙ Together with the sysadmins team is responsible for 24x7 operations
∙ Tune performance and ensure high availability of all systems and services
∙ Maintain security in accordance with company policies
∙ Work with developers to build great products
Main requirements:
∙ Relevant degree
∙ 3+ years of experience in supporting large Linux based deployments
∙ Familiarity with web-based technologies, multi-tier architecture
∙ Strong scripting skills
∙ Experience with automation and orchestration tools
∙ Good understanding of network protocols and routing
∙ Manage, configure and maintain Global IT infrastructure: Server Hardware, Data Storage, Virtualization Infrastructure and System Backup processes
∙ Manage, deploy and configure hardware upgrades, software updates, security patches and other necessary items on an as-needed basis
∙ Perform daily system monitoring and backup procedures to ensure data security, availability and integrity of required resources and proper recording of application logs and reviews
The following will be considered a plus:
∙ Linux administration (Linux, KVMs, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, etc)
∙ VLANs, VPNs, Proxies, HA and LB
∙ Experience using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
