The role of the Supply Chain Process Expert - Warehousing is to:




  • Act as a first point of contact for our internal customers for topics related to warehousing processes

  • Design and improve core and local logistics processes in cooperation with the Competence Center Warehouse of Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services (Germany) and coordinate with all relevant departments (e.g. Production, Quality, Material Management, Logistics)

  • Ensure process adherence and facilitate best practice exchanges

  • Closely coordinate all activities related to process improvements with counterparts and support departments

  • Support the preparation and execution of internal and external quality audits and support the implementation of corrective and preventive measures

  • Provide support to logistics operations on core and local processes

  • Continuously improve processes to optimize quality, costs and performance

  • Support the internal customers on all issues related to warehouse systems in use when the provider of the system/service is an external company

  • Participate in projects related to warehouse process improvements, digitalization and/or cost optimization

  • Develop KPIs for warehousing processes

  • Prepare regular reports for the customers

To be succefull in the role you need:




  • University degree in Economics, Supply chain or Engineering or relevant job experience

  • Excellent command of English (a must)

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent working skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in project management and/or LEAN

  • Good understanding of modern Supply Chain processes

  • High degree of problem solving and prioritization skills

  • Strong communication, presentation and moderation skills with internal and external customers
