Established in 2016, Sciant is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, with offices in Plovdiv and Yambol, Bulgaria and Tirana, Albania.
Currently we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team.
Requirements:
• Must have: 4+ years’ experience as a software developer
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Informatics or an equivalent experience
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Knowledge of the pythonic ecosystem: requests, lxml, Django, Flask, Bottle
• Solid CS fundamentals – algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, software architectures
• Analytical way of thinking
• Fluency in English – written and spoken
Advantages:
• Experience with AWS
• Additional certification or knowledge of products and technologies
• Good database and SQL knowledge – Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL or other
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, modify, and support of software solutions
• Participate in mentoring software engineers to support their skill and knowledge development
• Assist in task planning, estimation and scheduling in the projects
• Remain current on new technologies and vendor packages, evaluate and make recommendations as necessary
