Senior Payroll Financial Analyst

Essential Duties:



  • Take full responsibility over the centralized payroll cycle;

  • Main responsibilities include, but not limited to: Payroll Reconciliation (MD vs Payroll Tape), Benefits, incl Bonus calculation/accruals/payments, Payment Instructions for AP, Upload file for GL, Reconciliation AP vs GL, Reporting,
    etc;

  • Drive business transformation initiatives focused on improving standardization and automation of the process

  • Design and implement system health metrics and KPIs to monitor the process and systems; map these against industry best practice

  • Adhere to Service Level Agreement (SLA) and perform/manage team to perform per the SLA

  • Improve management and control over the entire end to end process, removing redundant activities and focusing on added value

  • Drive a culture of constant improvement. Identify and implement initiatives in order to increase business-wide effectiveness and end-to-end efficiency

  • Effectively manage the team, escalates issues and provides final decisions, and has overall responsibility for the effective performance of the function

  • Provide information and support the external audit process;

  • Assist in meeting external and internal reporting deadlines whilst maintaining the integrity of information;

  • Review, assess and recommend improvements to group policy and procedures ensuring appropriate documentation is in place;

  • Supports the preparation of budgets and forecasts;


Your Profile:



  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

  • Excellent advanced Excel skills, MS office

  • Fluent English is essential

  • Strong IFRS knowledge

  • Can-do positive mindset

  • Hands-on, proactive, takes initiative in problems solving and is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Close attention to detail and an independent manner of working is essential

  • An excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships, working across functions and with teams around the globe.

  • Ability to understand end-to-end processes, identify improvement & simplification opportunities and design and implement standardized solutions.
