TELUS International Bulgaria is looking for a new team member to join our team as a Senior accountant assets!

Your responsibilities:
Bulgaria:



  • To support the activities of the Finance Department on a daily basis

  • Responsible for Property, Plant, and equipment (PP&E) and Intangible assets, accounting, asset write-off, asset registration, asset inventory (annual and periodic), and asset tagging

  • To post invoices from suppliers related to the purchase of assets

  • Maintain an inventory of assets for global and local and tax purposes

  • Prepare a monthly package of reports on fixed assets, to analyze and reconcile monthly the balances on the Fixed Assets accounts

  • Responsible for scrapping, selling, and writing off fixed assets, and launches, is responsible for and checking the monthly depreciation expense in the accounting program.


Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey:


  • To prepare an annual budget for PP&E and Intangible assets, as well as a monthly updated budget - triage. Monitor the implementation of the budget.


Bulgaria, Romania, Ireland, and other within Europe:


  • To organize a weekly meeting of the local team for discussion and approval of the received requisitions for the purchase of Property, Plant and equipment, and Intangible Assets.

  • To support the preparation of business cases, to sort and maintain a register of approved requisitions.


The role reports directly to the Senior Manager Capex and ERP Systems.

Our Requirements:


  • University degree in Accounting and/or Finance

  • Knowledge of IFRS, the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (regardless of industry, BPO would be an advantage though)

  • Prior experience with ERP systems

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel

  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Team player

  • Fluency in English
