Production Planner

For our Plant in Plovdiv we are looking for:

Production Planner

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyzes, plans, releases, controls, reschedules and cancels work orders based on material requirements in ERP with use of Material Requirement Planning (MRP).


• Communicates the production schedule with responsible production departments and performs direct labor planning for these departments.


• Monitors and evaluates production statistics and advises on performance standards. Evaluates established time standards in relation to actual performance and recommends action as needed.


• Reviews capacity and develops a capacity report to identify periods when capacity could affect production’s ability to meet demand.


• Create weekly production schedules for each production cell and adjust schedules as priorities dictate.


• Monitor schedule deviations and adjust production as needed.


• Analyze current customer needs and adjust production plan as needed.


• Provides daily & long term production/capacity planning based on needs pertaining to safety stock, demand forecast, customer orders, ship dates, production efficiency, machine/cell availability and compatibility.


• Daily coordination/partnership with production leadership, procurement and warehouse staff to evaluate any changes needed in the production schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• 2+ years related experience preferred.


• Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.


• English language – verbal and written.


• Detail oriented and exceptionally organized.


• Demonstrated time management skill.


• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


• Knowledge of MRP system; Oracle applications preferred.
