UBB Pension Insurance is looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of Operational Risk Management Officer
Main responsibilities:
• Supports the Management of Pension Insurance Company UBB EAD in establishing an adequate operational risk management structure and process, in line with KBC Group policies and guidelines, as well as local legislation;
• Coordinate and support Risk and Control Self-Assessment (R&CSA) process;
• Coordinate and support operational risk review of new/amended products, new projects and key developments;
• Supports the process of setting up and maintenance of Risk and Control registers. Performs Key Control testing;
• Supports the implementation of Operational Risk awareness training programs;
• Coordinate and administrate incident tracking, reporting and response;
• Responsible for the implementation of the framework and the rules related to business continuity and crisis management;
• Coordinate and support the activities of employees who are assigned the role of Local Operational Risk Management (LORM/CORM).
Qualifications and Experience:
• University degree (preferably Economics/Finance/Audit);
• At least 2 years’ experience in Financial institution;
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
• Excellent command of English – both written and spoken;
• Project management skills and experience are considered as advantage;
• Communicative and adaptive person;
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines;
• Well organized and self-disciplined;
• Analytical skills (ability to collect and analyze information from a variety of sources to project forecast i/d trend);
• Investigative mind taking nothing for granted, attention to detail.
