Online Community Specialist (6 months contract)

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to make a significant impact on Skrill’s brand through digital engagement. The successful candidate will report into a senior communication specialist to support their strategy and ensure an aligned, relevant and consistent voice is delivered through Skrill’s review sites and app stores.



Essential Duties:



  • Respond to customer reviews on platforms including app stores and Trustpilot working closely with the customer services team where necessary to escalate and resolve customer queries.

  • Support the customer service team to define, implement or, where necessary adapt the tone of voice by platform to reflect Skrill’s brand and values.

  • Work closely with the Social Community Manager in understanding the impact of our community response and creating recommendations for sentiment improvements

  • Maximise visibility of customer comments within business to drive improvement highlighting trends to product, customer service and UX teams

  • Identify positive engagement opportunities to increase brand awareness and positive online reputation.

  • Support Social Media Manager in preparation of detailed reports showcasing impact of our community management


Your Profile:



  • Fluency in English required. Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience or working closely with customer service

  • Excellent communications writing and editing skills

  • Positive approach towards people and tasks

  • Ability to react quickly to conversational trends

  • Experience managing online community essential

  • Payment’s knowledge useful

  • Reporting / analytics experience preferred
