Due to the company and operational expansion, ITW Appliance Components is looking to hire

LABORATORY ENGINEER

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Leads the diagnostics of parts returned by the customer with support from other departments.


• Lead metrology activities.


• Products evaluation and testing, using measuring and diagnostic devices (such as oscilloscope high voltage probes, multimeter, power supplies, hand tools, soldering irons, hand crimpers, screwdrivers, and pliers. etc.) to test/validate the compliance.


• Assists with inspection equipment selection (if required by the processes).


• Creates inspection procedures and forms in compliance with technical drawing and sampling requirements.


• Develops and performs reliability test and accelerated life test methods both for products and components (mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems), issues reports and tracks information.


• Interprets inspection reports to obtain insight on where to focus improvements.

Requirements:

• Higher Education Degree in Engineering field


• 2+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing


• English (at least B1/2)


• MS office (intermediate - lookup, pivot, etc.)

What will be considered a strong advantage (but isn't a requirement):

• Electrical Engineering degree and


• Core Quality tools (Control plan, Flow Chart, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
