Project overview

We use Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework for the project. Program management, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts are involved on the DataArt side. The project started last year and will continue for the next several years. The project consists of several sub-projects and is aimed at helping the customer with their technological transformation by re-platforming (developing new versions) the entire system into the Cloud and using Cloud-native technologies alongside the existing solutions while keeping them up-to-date and active. The solution is currently running in production and it is required to develop new features addressing the client's business requirements and keep it up-to-date and active. The team actively collaborates with the customer and there are Customer Experts available to advise on any questions related to the system and business.

Technology stack

Responsibilities

• Writing code and stabilization
• Unit and integration tests
• Communications with the team
• Participation in Scrum processes, estimations and sprint commitments, and retrospectives
• Code reviews
• Help support the team with root cause analysis of production incidents

Requirements

• BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in web application design and development
• Strong Java programming skills (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
• Professional experience in designing databases and MySQL
• Effective communication and organizational skills, proactive, self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently
• Ability to speak Italian
