Our client is one of the leading German IT security consultancies, with more than 25 years of experience in helping organisations in the public and private domain with guarding their informational infrastructure and reaching the highest security standards on the market. They're specialising in providing a 360° solution - from implementing security products and services (Cisco, McAfee, Check Point, SOPHOS, tenable, BitSight, RSA, Draccon etc.) matching their clients' needs, to analysing and identification of existing threats, protection and eliminating known forms of cyber-attacks and developing a strategy for more sustainable and secured IT infrastructure.
They are now building an operations centre in Bulgaria, aiming partly to support their Architecture & Engineering team in Germany and are looking to attract an
IT Security Architect
Responsibilities:
● Engage in the conception, planning and design of complex IT security solutions.
● Guide the client on what matches best its need for IT security, based on its current infrastructure.
● Lead the projects you work on - their organisation, proper documentation and timely execution.
● Follow, evaluate and integrate technologies and trends on the market in relation to the company's product management.
Requirements:
● University degree in Informatics, Computer Systems, IT Security or other relevant fields;
● 3+ years of working experience in designing and implementing IT Security products and solutions;
● Very good understanding of various IT Security components: device, network, OS, data, application & web security, etc.;
● Good business acumen and experience in a project management role;
● Fluency in the English language;
● German language proficiency would be a strong plus, but is NOT a requirement;
● Readiness to occasionally travel to Germany for client meetings;
