What we look for:

For our Sofia IT Hub we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who will contribute to a client's projects related to automation, customization and integration of virtualization and infrastructure software products. Our client is headquartered in California and its Sofia office is the largest R&D center in EMEA. The company provides multi-cloud services, enabling digital innovation with enterprise control. The new hire will act as a their Consultant and will be working on a suite for enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and management solutions.


The role itself:

• Being part of a team that works in collaboration with management, professional services and R&D teams


• Working on enterprise projects for client(s) in the American market


• Leading the execution of Center of Engineering integrations and extensions projects towards successful completion


• Analyzing customer requirements, facilitating and delivering technical solutions


• Preparing estimates and budgets for execution in collaboration with technical team members


• Developing and tracking detailed project plans, schedules, dependencies, critical paths


• Maintaining clear communication with customers and upper management of any risk areas, coming up with risk mitigation plans


• Defining estimates and plans for software delivery


• Adhering to a particular to the client's internal processes during the whole SLDC – idea, patent, requirements, specifications, designs, implementation, bug fixing, QA, support


• Onboarding new members and mentoring junior members with the day-to-day project activities (time logging and submission, project-specific execution workflow, task assignment, interactions and etc.)


• Build and maintain confidence of colleagues and customers


• Assisting in the development of standard reusable consulting service offerings, including definition of tasks, deliverables and standard estimates


• Helping document best practices and lessons learned in developing and deploying solutions and feeding them into our knowledge base for reuse by the team, customers and partners.


• Presenting custom solutions and articulating how business requirements are met to all levels of customer resources, from operators and consumers to the highest management staff


• Ensuring and assigning resources per project needs


• Participating and representing the client's product in pre-sales activities (30%+ of the time)

Skills and experience required:

• At least 5 years of experience acquired in complex and scalable software development projects and IT environment


• Past experience in pre-sales processes


• Hands-on experience in contract documentation and budget management


• Strong expertise in end-to-end supervising of enterprise clients' projects 


• Deep understanding of software development and project management conceptions (Agile, Waterfall)


• Ability to work without close supervision


• Proactive and goal-oriented attitude


• Familiarity with systems management concepts, processes and standards; capacity and performance management and tuning; storage and network management.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Fluent in English language: speaking, reading, and writing


• Considered as advantages will be:
