Hotel Reservation agent in a Business travel Agency

Trade Fair Trips Ltd is a business-to-business travel agency which offers personalized hotel accommodation to international companies attending trade fairs around the globe.

With all trade fairs up and running we need all hands on deck! We need young, energetic and devoted new members, ready to dive in and give their best every day. We offer a lot in return to those who embark on a journey with us. 

Currently we are looking for a few Reservation Agents for our local office in Varna, to join our long-term team of experts and learn from the best in the field.

If the tourism industry and languages are your passion and you feel excited to communicate with hotels and suppliers around the Globe in English, this is the perfect job for you!

Here is what we need from you as a start, the rest is from us:

- Fluent in English, with the ability to speak and write without any concerns
- Second language is a plus, as usual
- Past experience showing negotiation skills over the phone/email is a big plus and will serve you well
- Experience in the hotel accommodation field/ hotel reservation systems 
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Internet
- Good at maths as some contracts will require simple calculations
- Polite and patient, ready to handle stressful situations with tact
- Reliable, ready to get involved and dedicate yourself to the business full time
- Strict, accurate, well-organized, as things must always be in order
- Referrals are always welcome

Your main duties, after our training, will include:

- Daily communications with hotels over the phone and via e-mail in English
- Negotiating hotel rates and terms over the phone and via e-mail
- Establishing and maintaining good relations with hotel chains and suppliers to guarantee long-term agreements
- Meeting targets and deadlines
- Following the advice and requirements set from manager and report to manager on a daily basis
- Communicating with other departments in the company
