Head of Business Development

For one of our clients, a pioneer cloud-based ERP and business software provider with strong presence in the region, we are currently looking for highly experienced commercial and business development professional, with technical and business acumen and experience from the IT sector, to join their team as Country Head of Business Development for Bulgaria.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Business Development in Bulgaria will have a key leading role in managing the overall commercial function in Bulgaria and will be reporting directly to the Group CEO of the company. His/her goal will be to grow the market of the company products and digital transformation, by developing the company’s partner and client network.
THE ROLE:
o Develop and oversee the implementation of commercial strategies and focus on actively growing and utilizing the local partner network
o Grow the company’s client base directly, but most importantly through utilizing and enforcing the local partner network
o Build the company’s brand awareness in the local enterprise market
o Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for growth through local alliances, M&A activity, etc.
o Lead and manage the small local sales team and support the development and growing of the team, as per company plan and strategy;
o Plan and monitor the business development and take key role in the annual budgeting and goal setting plan for the sales, by channel, product and other;
o Analyze the markets’ specifics and local competitors to develop the most efficient trade policy and approach and provide ideas for possible process improvements, new sales leads’ channels etc.
PROFILE:
• At least 8 years of experience in providing business software solutions (especially ERP, CRM, cloud or other solutions) for corporate customers in senior role
• Strong sales/business development/client management skills and acumen
• Strong quantitative background, business modelling and analytical skills
• Solid presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional groups
• In addition to a strong operational capability, a self-motivated, adaptive and autonomous professional with strong strategic thinking, communication, inter-personal influence, networking, learning agility
• Excellent knowledge of English language
