Introduction

We are seeking a Fullstack developer with frontend development knowledge to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering team. You will work with Product Designers and be the bridge between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role to help define how the application looks as well as how it works. You will also work on the backend stack to develop some of the core features of the product on cloud.

 The role:

• Responsible for development of frontend portals for the In-Vehicle Infotainment App Store, using wireframes, workflows, graphics, logos, animations provided by the UX designer;


• Responsible for implementing responsive websites, and cross browser compatible websites;


• Responsible for developing reusable frontend components, which can be used in both web and mobile;


• Responsible for building portals using the backend REST APIS;


• Responsible for developing backend micro services using technologies such as Nodejs, Sequelize, PostgreSQL on cloud;


• Responsible for testing code/services using unit-testing frameworks;


• Responsible for code review, peer reviews;


• Develop user interfaces for Modern Rich Web Applications with the latest frontend technologies;


• Collaborate and work with cross-functional engineering team members to turn requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes;


• Translate designs, wireframes, functional specifications into frontend code;


• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Owners, to maintain design and code standards;


• Work closely with cross-functional design and engineering team members to identify & resolve usability issues;


• Develop features to enhance user experience;


• Build reusable code;


• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability;


• Individual contributor who should be able to work on developing backend micro services using technologies like Nodejs, Sequelize, PostgreSQL.

 
Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field;


• 5+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record of building consumer web applications or services;


• Must have experience in real-time web and mobile dashboard;


• Must have experience with Node.js, Express.js, and React/Flux/Redux a plus;


• Experience in building highly scalable web services and building/using RESTful APIs;


• Experience with Cloud Platform AWS, Azure, and GCP;


• Advanced programming skills developing using client-side JavaScript and HTML/CSS;


• Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS, Rest API, Python, NodeJS, Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), SQL/NOSQL databases, and design patterns;


• Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages like C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript;


• Strong understanding, building, and debugging of scalable, high-performance web applications built with reusability and componentization in mind;


• Familiarity with Single Page Application Frameworks (React, Angular, Backbone), responsive design, and MVC design patterns;


• Knowledge of REST/Graphql/JSON;


• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React;


• Proficiency with server-side languages Nodejs;


• Experience working on databases like MySQL;


• Expertise in development and deployment of Web Apps, backend micro services;


• Experience writing unit tests;


• Writing production ready code;


• Experience using Git.

 
Desired competencies:

• Experience with docker containers;


• Experience working in the context of a ServiceBus architecture (dealing with concurrency, idempotency, and message ordering);


• Experience with Domain Driven Design;


• Experience working in the context of agile teams;


• Experience modeling databases.
