Financial controller

To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated and skilled person to become part of our finance team and assist us in the financial management of the company’s processes.
What you will do
• Direct assistance to the Financial Director in relation to ongoing projects;
• Reconciliation of financial reports and accounting operations;
• Preparation of financial reports (cash flow, financial indicators, business segments, etc.)
• Tracing of budget to actual and forecast data;
• Collaboration with the accounting team on a regular basis;
• Analysis of specific financial data; finding the logic behind numbers;
• Participation in the development of new and optimization of existing processes in Finance;
• Participation in different ongoing projects as needed;
• Communication with business partners on occasion;
To be successful you need to have:
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar;
• Reasonable understanding of financial data;
• General understanding of accounting principles, accounting ledgers and journals;
• Knowledge of Bulgarian legislation (taxes, financial sphere);
• Advanced/ intermediate Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables;
• Great attention to details;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality of work
• Work experience in a leading audit company or a non – banking financial institution will be considered an advantage.
