We are now looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of

Expert Financial Controlling

Duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports for local and KBC Group management in compliance with the KBC policies and rules;
• Monitors the actual performance compared to budget through regular and ad-hoc performance analysis reports and budget forecast updates;
• Actively participates in the annual budgeting process;
• Participates in the preparation of quarterly presentations for senior management and supervisory board;
• Insurance market analysis from financial and business perspective (peer comparison and benchmarking);
• Actively participates in initiatives related to the automation and optimization of reports;
• Identifies opportunities to enhance and optimize financial processes, procedures and controls;
• Participates in the IFRS 17 project.

The successful candidate should have:

• University degree with focus in Finance, Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Economics or other relevant education;
• Prior experience in financial controlling at least 2-3 years;
• Prior experience in the insurance sector will be considered as strong advantage;
• Profound knowledge of budgeting and controlling;
• Proficiency in English;
• Very good analytical skills;
• Results-oriented, team player with ability to plan, prioritize and work within tight deadlines;
• Hands-on mentality;
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office applications;
