About the job

Are you a marketer or branding expert who thrives on human connection, autonomy and the desire to constantly learn? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented marketer to join the Employer Branding team and lead our efforts in Sofia.

You’ll be joining us at such an exciting time for the company as we have recently announced an investment of €590 million from some of the most reputable names in finance which values SumUp at €8 billion. 

What you’ll do

• You’ll drive exceptional execution and exciting content ideas to enhance engagement across channels.


• You’ll also define and monitor metrics and OKRs on the performance of employer branding initiatives.


• You’ll organize and attend SumUp careers events and exhibitions will also be part of your responsibilities.


• You’ll become the trusted advisor to the Talent Acquisition & People team in Bulgaria by understanding hiring/business demands.


• You’ll act as a business partner providing strategic support in identifying the relevant talent attraction marketing solutions.


• You’ll build and maintain relationships with internal partners including People team, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Compensation, Internal Communications, Tribes to gather internal resources to help build external narrative and align our global brand campaigns.

You’ll be great for this role if

• You have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Employer Branding/Branding/Marketing Communications/PR


• You have developed excellent project management skills


• You have captivating storytelling skills


• You have excellent journalist skills - you can get to the stories through asking the right questions, and translate tech talk in simple and compelling language


• You have previous experience in events management


• You have excellent command of English, as close to native as possible


• You are a team player with ability to work cross-functionally


• You have experience with other markets, ideally with Germany/Poland/Denmark/Ukraine (in start-ups, scale-ups and corporations)

Awesome if 

You have experience with recruitment marketing, paid media, visual design and/or video production - this is a serious advantage, but not a requirement
