As part of the EMEA regional HR team, the EMEA HRIS Specialist will report to the Global HRIS Lead and in dotted line to the EMEA Regional Head of HR and will act as an individual contributor responsible for the implementation and supervision of the daily operations of LDC HR systems.
This person will be the regional point of contact for global initiatives, connecting global needs with local requirements and ensuring proper change management action are in place and effective, supporting the digital roadmap designed for the function.
The EMEA HRIS Specialist will also ensure high standards in terms of data quality and efficiency of operations ran on HR systems, being able to provide data analysis when needed. He / She will also ensure the organization is trained and supported in the use of HRIS and acts as a liaison between HR business and group HRIS / IT when it relates to system development or system integrations.
The role will be involved in HRIS activities transversally related to all HR domains, including operations, performance and development, rewards and analytics.
Main responsibilities
Data Management:
• Act as a data governor for employee master data, maintaining data integrity.
• Ensure all users are registering employee data accurately and on time.
• Perform data audits to identify and address data issues.
• Increase data awareness across the organization.
• Support enablement of data driven decision making for the business.
• Ensure new developments or security updates remain compliant with data protection laws.
Project contribution / change management:
• Act as point of reference between Global HRIS team and local HR teams to scope, implement, deliver, and maintain global HR systems initiative in his / her scope.
• Analyze requests / changes received from the region to ensure global process are well adopted in the region, addressing regional specificities.
• Be an active change ambassador, promoting digital transformation and adoption of digital tool to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes in the region.
Analysis & Reporting:
• Receive and interpret all report requests from internal customers, develop training for end users on self-service reporting and dashboard consultation.
• Liaise with BI specialist on integration of Workday with Power BI for consolidation of reporting of HR metrics
• Identify opportunities and recommend changes for enhancing HR reporting in Workday and PowerBI
HRIS Support:
• Support management on structural policy matters related to HRIS.
• Handle day-to-day end user support providing solutions, training end users on issue resolutions and escalate to IT when and where required.
• Act as point of contact and supervise day-to-day activities within the HRIS Systems.
Continuous Improvement:
• Work alongside the HR team, Group HRIS team and IT department to seek for continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Constantly seek for ways to increase efficiency in HR processes by further developing and finetuning HRIS processes.
• Identify risks or opportunities and recommend changes to processes which improve the delivery of HR Services to the organization.
Knowledge management and training:
• Update and develop new HRIS process documentation, trainings and Quick Reference Guides for end users so that using HRIS will become user intuitive for the end users.
• Regular host info session on HRIS for HR and potentially also for other end users in the future.
Experience
• 3 to 5 years prior experience on HRIS (preferably on Workday)
• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or IT.
• Solid knowledge of the HR function and HR processes, and you have an high digital dexterity with tools and new technologies.
• Experience in managing data (also confidential) and performing analysis to produce dashboards and reports, with expert usage of MS Excel.
Other skills (computer skills, datascience...)
• Fluent in English; (French would be considered a plus)
• Experience with work on multi-country or global scopes and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
• You are passionate in digitalization and digital transformation, leveraging technology to improve employee experience and overall deliver better services
Academics:
