DevOps Team Lead

Core responsibilities and day-to-day activities of the position:

• Working closely with teams in Sofia, Tel Aviv


• Delivering scalable features daily


• Improving R&D velocity by developing automated self serviceable CloudOps solutions


• You and your team will be responsible for designing, implementing and deploying a massively dynamically scalable cloud architecture in support of Yotpo’s massive RnD growth.


• Participating and leading the design of complex solutions


• Collaborating with Tech Leads and other team members on technological and architectural topics


• Owning your work with freedom & responsibility culture


• You’ll be responsible for hiring and mentoring DevOps engineers.

Main Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software development management


• 5+ years experience as a DevOps engineer


• Extensive experience with AWS


• Extensive experience in both application development as well as operational support for large, high scale applications


• Experience with ECS and Kubernetes and running Dockers in production


• Knowledge of at least one of PHP/Python/NodeJS/Java – more than one is an advantage


• Experience in Bash Shell scripting


• Experience with Hashistack – Terraform, Consul, Vault, and Nomad- Advantage


• Experience with automating Cloud Computing platforms


• Understanding of Chef/Puppet/Ansible

It's nice to have (but not mandatory):

• NoSQL(ElasticSearch/MongoDB)


• MySQL


• Knowledge in time-series databases


• Knowledge in Jenkins


• Experience in building CI/CD pipeline for distributed systems
