Cyber Security Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Cyber Security Analyst to join the Information Security team.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate conceptual understanding of the main security principles and the ability to work in a global team environment. They should have a prior experience in an international security team, be a fast learner with the ability to refine their skills and enhance their ability to support the needs of the security organization in a fast-paced environment.

The potential candidates need to have prior experience of working in a web-based application services environment.

What to expect:

• Work closely with the Change management team to ensure all processes are set up according to the Information security requirements


• Perform reviews from Information Security standpoint of change and service requests as part of the Change Management process based on security best practices and company policies


• Involvement in the Vulnerability management processes by identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities, discussing them with the respective owners from various IT teams, and following up on their timely remediation


• Participate in the administration of the vulnerability management solution used – by setting up scans, policies, reports, dashboards, system tags, and by troubleshooting issues when required


• Involvement in the creation and maintenance of KPIs, PowerBI reports and Dashboards representing the setup and coverage of Information Security systems managed by the team


• Ensure that the company and InfoSec SLAs and KPIs for requests review and approval/rejection are maintained throughout the process


• Participate in various projects to improve the company’s security posture


• Participate in Information security related compliance internal and external audits


• Participate in security analysis of networks, systems and applications


• Ensure the continuous compliance with the PCI-DSS and other regulation

To be successful you need to have:

• At least 1-3 years’ experience in the information security field


• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or relevant practical experience in a related field


• Understanding of security best practices and processes such as secure change management, vulnerability management


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required


• Understand networking technologies and protocols including WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, DLP, firewalls, Load balancers, WAFs, CASB, proxies, alerting and 802.1 xs;


• At least basic understanding of AWS and Azure cloud technologies and security tooling and features


• Be a strong team player, exhibit self-directed work habits, initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism


• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills


• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment


• Be comfortable with a high-tech work environment and constant learning of new tools and innovations


• Have exposure to SIEM, Vulnerability Management tools, and knowledge of Endpoint Security, and other security tools


• Possess a good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol, network and remote access security techniques/products


• Have a strong research background, utilizing an analytical approach


• Have experience in working according to compliance and regulatory requirements


• Be able to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high stress situations


• Be a good team player who can maintain a constructive ground of discussion, trigger progressive debates that enable the team to learn and grow


• Having a good understanding of PCI-DSS requirements is considered a plus
