Job profile: 

The Controlling and FP&A Analyst is part of the Group Finance Function and serves as a supporting role to the financial planning and analysis team. The Controlling and FP&A Analyst is responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly management reports, various matrix projects (e.g. lift and shift reporting and planning tools to newly acquired subsidiaries), calculation of monthly production costs and variances, participates in the audit process, identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results versus plans and forecasts.
The Controlling and FP&A Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Controlling & FP&A Manager which will also act as their first line supervisor. 

Main responsibilities:


  • Engage closely in periodic forecast, annual/bi-annual/quarterly and long-range reporting process.

  • Engage closely in monthly, quarterly and yearly management reporting process.

  • Participate in other forecasting processes such as macro lead and lead alloys planning and consumption.

  • Participate in the various financial calculation and analysis conducted by the controlling team.

  • Support lift and shift reporting and the implementation of planning tools to newly acquired subsidiaries.

  • Support the Group Finance Function in the external audit process.

  • Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. 

  • Understand and perform analysis of accounts to ensure proper presentation of the financial information in accordance with local and international accounting standards.

  • Track the progress of the improvements that have been deployed.

  • Control the day-to-day reporting of the Production Department and advise if discrepancies are identified.

  • Work closely with local and international accounting teams to ensure accurate monthly accounting reconciliations.

  • Work in collaboration with the Production Department to develop a good understanding of production processes and business specifics.

  • Produce ad hoc reports and analyses to drive key strategic business decisions for senior leadership.



For success on the job you will need: 


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA would be considered as a strong advantage);

  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar role or an auditing position;

  • Highly developed analytical and research skills, and initiative;

  • Ability to complete independently multiple tasks meeting tights deadlines with high accuracy and attention to details;

  • Extensive experience with Excel and proficient with Word and PowerPoint Microsoft Office Products

  • Good interpersonal skills, including written and oral presentation skills;

  • Good English written and verbal communication skills;

  • Strong team-oriented behavior and attitude;
