Content Creator - Copywriter

DevOps is an IT and Privacy startup working exclusively on awesome projects!
We are looking for a writer who preferably has prior experience in the Tech industry. In particular one who understands the unique needs, concerns, and hesitations of technology buyers.
We are looking for a copywriter who can engage our readers and educate on their level—without dumping down our messaging or overusing complicated tech jargon.
Technical Skills / Abilities:
• Excellent English- Writing and speaking skills with strong grasp of spelling, grammar and syntax.
• Ideally well-versed in copy-writing in all of its forms (ads, social, web, subject lines and copy) and have an understanding of or first-hand experience with writing about software development and for technical audiences.
• Digitally savvy with existing and emerging social media platforms.
• A portfolio of copy will be required.
Qualifications:
• Creative thinker. Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies on how to impact decisions.
• Copy-writing and Editing skills. Understanding of basic SEO writing principles.
• Technology Obsessed. In-depth understanding of the software industry and cybersecurity will be considered a great advantage.
• Planning & Product Development Life Cycle understanding. Knowledge of and ability to develop products and bring them into the marketplace.
• Cope with Ambiguity. Strong business acumen and knowledge of core business and financial metrics, particularly in growth-stage startups.
