  • Fluent English and Spanish

  • Ideally 2 years purchasing experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and a basic understanding of the materials and supply chain management functions

  • Good understanding of the end-to-end procure to pay process

  • Experience with JD Edwards

  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA)

  • Strong communication skills




As responsible for procure-to-pay process effectiveness, you will have the following specific responsibilities:



  • Process all purchase orders according to BIC’s standard process and according the terms per contract (e.g., pricing, delivery, payment terms)

  • Manage day-to-day interaction with suppliers: ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on backorders

  • Process purchase orders of assigned spend categories in terms of delivery and invoice accuracy

  • Ensure internal customers are complying with contracts and using preferred suppliers with contracted pricing. Perform periodic audits of automated Purchase Orders

  • Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws

  • Monitor and report on non-compliance

  • Forward queries to plants in a timely and efficient manner
