The importance of your role: The Trade Marketing department is one of the key teams in Business Unit Wholesale- Sales& Marketing, focused on the establishment and management of fruitful partnerships with new and existing
suppliers for pharmacy and hospital market. To boost the overall growth of our business, as well as to streamline our efforts in identifying and exploring new business opportunities we are launching a new position in the Trade Marketing
team and are exploring the market for a Business Development & Market Access Manager. Ideally the job holder will be a well-balanced DNA of pharmaceutical oriented education, regulatory framework knowledge, market analytics acumen and
business development experience.




What will be your daily job:


The job holder will analyze current and future market trends for the product categories within the company’s portfolio in Bulgaria and abroad and evaluate the data in the business context of the Wholesale business unit’s strategy.
Furthermore, he/ she will:



  • Explore and assess various channels to gain valuable and business applicable market knowledge for the targeted product categories

  • Analyze new product categories and producers with focus on their potential to add value to the business growth and market shares of Sopharma Trading in both pharmacy and hospital market segments

  • Pro-actively establish and maintain fruitful relationship with the identified suppliers, approved as matching the company’s criteria for partnership

  • Manage the process of registration and reimbursement of new products with potential for business added value, produced by companies, who are not yet present on the local market

  • Take active part in the business unit’s strategy planning process with focus on preparation and delivery of market analytics and business development analyses and reports

  • Participate and support all department projects within his area of responsibilities


What you need to have:



Our soul-mate Business Development & Access Manager will be analytical, self-driven, result-focused and pro-active individual with sales acumen and polished communication approach, equipped with:



  • University degree with focus on Medicine, Pharmacy or closely related disciplines

  • In-depth knowledge of the Pharmacy and Hospital market

  • Successful professional story in suppliers’ negotiations

  • Track record in registration and reimbursement of medicines

  • Experience in market trends and product categories analyses and reports delivery

  • Creative problem solver approach, complemented by the ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate business needs

  • Very good knowledge of English, combined with advanced computer skills

  • Team player attitude
